DOT and non-DOT physicals are performed by certified and state licensed physicians at our office. The DOT physical exam is required for drivers of all commercial and public transportaton vehicles. The physical, if approved, must be renewed every two years.

The physical exam certifies that a driver has no mental or physical condition which may impair their ability to safely operate any commercial or public transport motor vehicle. A review of past medical history, as well as, a complete current physical exam is necessary to insure the safety of a driver and the general public according to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

The driver may call our office for an appointment. After the physician has completed the examination and approved the driver, he/she will be issued a laminated card.
